Susan M. DuRoss

I t is an honor to write my personal endorsement for Gil Alba, for Investigator of the Year. My name is Susan DuRoss, I am a housewife, mother of 4 sons and I also work in my home office. In September of 1999, I decided to take a course at Westchester Community College . I have always been interested in Police Detective work and unsolved cases, so I was eager to enroll in the course, The Art of Investigations, given by Gil Alba. I had no idea all the work that it took to be a good investigator. Gil fascinated me, the first 5 minutes of the class.

He showed us his files on two cases that he was working, Kristine Kupka and Ann Marie Scivetti, two missing woman that met with foul play. I was in awe of his many talents. He taught us how to get people to talk and how to pick up on their emotions. He also taught us not to be close-minded and not to make quick conclusions. Gil has a very strong passion for people and it shows in his sincere concern for others. And he never gives up and does not get discouraged.

Gil is an amazing man, what makes him so special is his true honesty and concern for people. He has what it takes to be a truly great Detective. I have been a friend with Gil since then. And I have called on him numerous times for personal family matters that needed investigating. He has always been there for me and never asked for anything in return. He works tirelessly for his clients, and leaves no stone unturned. I am so honored to know this very special man! And he most definitely deserves the tile "Investigator of the Year!"

Respectfully,

Susan M. DuRoss
