IDAHO V. Ellington- Gil discusses trial:
Ellington, out of road rage, attacked the Honda head-on by slamming into it with his Blazer, The S.U.V. climbed on top of the Honda as it pushed it. Joel Larsen got out of his car armed with his .44 caliber gun. Ellington saw the gun pointed at him and attempted to flee by flooring his Blazer. As Vonette Larsen ran to her daughter's car, she was caught between Ellington and his escape. He ran her over, crushing her skull, and then sped away. Ellington was convicted.

Gil was interviewed regarding a case where a couple rent a Colonial on Old House Lane, the same cul-de-sac where Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton live.
Carlos Perez-Olivo, 58, told detectives a Hispanic man got into his sport utility vehicle and shot his wife in the head and killed her, then shot him as they struggled over the gun.
Gil investigated the case of a missing 14-year old male in Manhattan... thankfully, the youth was found safe.

Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy Chad Butler, the first Iowa law enforcement officer to be indicted in 15 years, fatally shot an unarmed man.
On December 30, 2004, Butler attempted to stop Dwayne Jens, a 41-year-old father of three, for speeding. Instead of stopping, Jens led Butler, 29, on an eight-mile chase. When the chase finally ended and Butler reached the car, Butler thought Jens was reaching for a weapon.
Butler shot him once above the left ear.

In March 2003, 56-year-old David Lunz was brutally attacked and shot to death inside his Florida home. Within weeks, Lunz’s estranged son Christopher, 38, and a friend, William Westerman, were arrested. Prosecutors allege Christopher Lunz planned to kill his father for his inheritance money and have charged him with first-degree murder. Lunz faces the death penalty.

Gil was featured with the two actors discussing real kidnappings as having been involved in the Harvey Weinstein Kidnapping Case and also discussed the executive kidnapping of others such as Sidney Reso, Exxon Executive from New Jersey, who died during capture.
