retired law enforcement professional who served as the Police Chief of two municipalities during a twenty-one year career.
Mr. Shamshak is a former police academy director and police trainer. He has taught a variety of recruit, in-service, supervisory, management and executive training programs. He is a police management consultant, and has testified in federal court as a police practices expert. He has served as an Adjunct Lecturer and has taught a variety of criminal justice college classes.
He currently serves as the Program Director and Lead Instructor for Boston University’s Professional Investigator Certificate Program. Mr. Shamshak has been a private investigator for six years, and has acquired experience in the investigation of unsolved missing persons and cold case murders. Mr. Shamshak earned a Master of Science degree at the Graduate School of Criminal Justice at Northeastern University, and pursued doctoral studies at Boston College.
