James R. Buckley

c ompleted a distinguished career in law enforcement of more than 32 years, serving as the Chief of Detectives for the City of Paterson, NJ.

Upon retirement from the Paterson Police Department, Mr. Buckley accepted a position as the Advisor to the Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). In this capacity, Mr. Buckley was responsible for analyzing and drafting the agency’s long-term strategies, future initiatives, management plans and corporate policies.

As co-founder of Buckley Petersen Global (BPG), Mr. Buckley has conducted numerous high profile security assessments throughout the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. Mr. Buckley has a Master’s Degree in Education and has extensive experience with school safety and security.
