Diana P. Trepkov

D iana Trepkov is a forensic artist who helps identify people through her work. She believes we have to think positive and continually work together,
as a team, to protect the innocent. Diana has worked in the Forensic Identification Bureau at York Regional Police. She attended the University of Oklahoma and is constantly furthering her education so she can remain a master in her field. Her artwork for law enforcement agencies and Rogers TV GTA’s Most Wanted has involved a variety of art services to promote the identification of unknown deceased or missing persons. Her work has also been featured on Global Television Canada, Mystery TV, CTV, WINK Florida TV news and ABC Florida TV news. The Fort Myers Police is currently using her age progression of Phillip Koss on their hot sheet, he went missing back in March 13th 1995 and this case remains unsolved.

She has completed composites for bank robberies and Attempt Abductions, facial reconstructions on unidentified skulls, Postmortem reconstructions from autopsies; resulting in unidentified remains from Hit and Runs, drowning accidents (where the victim is unrecognizable, Diana can reproduce what the victim did look like from the bone structure underneath the decomposed, bruised or swelling which is shown in the photograph) and mysterious deaths, Unsolved Cold Cases, Surveillance video drawings, Disguise removal drawing from Surveillance video; has helped the local police department by completing a forensic drawing of a suspect caught on a surveillance camera. The suspect was disguised with glasses, and Diana was able to reproduce the suspect in order for identification to be made.

Diana is considered by the forensic community to be one of the best forensic artists in Canada; as written by Detective Sergeant David Juck, from the York Regional Police Service in Canada. Her excellent work speaks for itself. She also completes Age progressions for missing children and facial comparisons, trophy sculptures and portraits. Over the years Trepkov has dedicated a great deal of time in support of organizations such as Project Edan, Durham Rape Crisis Center, The Doe Network, and Cue Center for Missing Persons, Loss Angeles County Corners office, Maricopa Medical Examiners office as well as Toronto Police: Special Olympics and the FBI.
